My grandmother prepared this Plantain stem thoran,locally called vaazha pindi thoran, for me.I loved it.

Ingredients
- Plantain stem(vaazha pindi)-2 cup(chopped)
- Shreded coconut-1/2 cup
- Onion(chopped)-1 tablespoon
- Garlic(chopped)-1 tablespoon
- Dried red chillies-4
- Turmeric powder-1/2 teaspoon
- Mustard seeds-1/2 teaspoon
- Coconut oil-2 tablespoon
- Curry leaves
- Salt to taste
How to Cook!
- Add plantain stem ,little water,turmeric powder and salt in a cooking dish and cook it for 10 minutes.(close the dish with a lid)
- Take a pan and heat coconut oil.Add all other ingredients in to it.Saute it well.
- Mix it with cooked plantain stem.
- Close the lid and cook for 2 minutes.
- Its really tasty and healthy one.Try it foodies.
