Layali lubnan is an aromatic dessert well known all over the Middleeast. Layali lubnan meaning Lebanese nights, gives you the origin of the dessert. Its refreshing taste makes it a good treat in summer . This semolina based pudding is really easy to make and a party dessert too.

Ingredients

 


 

  • Condensed Milk | 1 tin
  •  Water | 2.5 cup
  •  Eggs| 2
  • Semolina|1/2 cup
  •  Rose water | 1 tbsp
  • Whipped cream |1 cup
  • Pistachio | 3 tbsp
  • Almonds | 3 tbsp
  • Saffron | 1 tsp

 


How to Cook!



Step – 1

  • In a saucepan, Add the water and Condensed Milk. Stir occasionally to boil.

Step – 2

  • In a separate bowl, beat semolina and eggs together. Add this mixture to the simmering milk, stirring vigorously with a whisker for 3 minutes or until it thickens.
  • Remove the saucepan from the heat and add rose water. Stir and pour over individual bowls or a large dish. Set aside until it cools.
  • Decorate with the whipped cream(I used puck thick cream) all over the top and sprinkle with pistachio, saffron and almond flakes.
