I have a great time cooking and eating. But more than that I love my moms cooking. And here is one my favorite curry Squid Green Masala Roast,that had been prepared by her. A squid dish prepared with all basic ingredients with a zing of coconut, great aroma with lovely taste.

Ingredients


  • Squid (koonthal) – 500 g
  • Onion – 3 (med size)
  • Ginger Garlic paste – 2 tsp
  • Cumin – 1 tsp
  • Sweet Cumin – 1 tsp
  • Green Chillies – 3
  • Garam masala – 1/2 tsp
  • Pepper Powder – 1 tsp
  • Lemon juice – 1
  • Coriander Powder – 1 tsp
  • Turmeric Powder – 1/2 tsp
  • Coconut grated – 1 tbs
  • Curry Leaves – 1 tsp
  • Coriander leaves – 1 tsp
  • Coconut oil | 3 tbsp

How to Cook!


  • Add the squid , 2 onion chopped, ginger garlic paste and coriander powder to a cooker and cook it up to 5 whistles
  • Blend the remaining ingredients in a mixer
  • In a pan add some oil and  add the mixture ( cooked squid mix and blended masala ), cook it for a good 15 – 20 minutes.
