Green Coconut Chutneys, locally called as thenga chammanthi, tastes perfect with biriyanis.Earlier coconuts are grinded using roller stone.Its really a very hard task.All thanks to technology that we have grinders for that today.Now making it is an effortless and easy thing. This is served with Biriyanis in Malabar region together with Raita.




Preparation Time:

  1. Coconut-1 cup
  2. Coriander leaves-1 cup
  3. Green chilly(chopped)-1 teaspoon
  4. Ginger-1 teaspoon
  5. Garlic-1 teaspoon
  6. Lemon juice-1 tablespoon
  7. Salt

How to Make!

  • Grind coconut,coriander leaves,green chillies,ginger,garlic and salt all together using a grinder.
  • Add lemon juice in to it and mix well.
  • Enjoy your biriyani with it.
