Ingredients

For the coconut chutney:

Coconut(grated)-1 cup
Coriander leaves-1/4 cup
Mint leaves-6
Curry leaves-12
Green chilly-4 nos.
Ginger-1 teaspoon
Garlic-1 clove
Onion-2 tbs
Lime juice-1 to 2 tbsp
Salt to taste
For frying:
Boiled egg-4 nos.
Egg white-2 nos.
Bread crumbs-1/2 cup
Ghee for shallow frying

How to Make

Step 1
Mix all the ingredients for the coconut chutney thoroughly. And grind it to make a thick paste. Careful not to add water otherwise it will stick on to the egg if it is loose..
Step 2
Cut the boiled eggs into half and cover each half with the green chatny. Dip each covered egg in the egg white and then cover with the bread crumbs. Finally, shallow fry them in the ghee.
NB: You can also deep fry these chatny mutta.If you plan to deep fry them, freeze them for a minimum of 30 minutes before frying, otherwise it might break and spread in the oil.Moreover oil must be really hot for frying to prevent it from breaking.
