A really creamy and sweet dessert, baked yogurt is an easy and delicious dessert. Topped with blueberry sauce it was a wonderful treat. It is perfect for parties and can be made ahead of time. Try this easy recipe and get the wow. Somewhere this dessert has a taste resemblance of a cheesecake, but it was far more lovelier than the cheesecake. It is a must try. Preparation time:
20 minutes + cooling

Electric oven, baking dish or moulds


Yogurt(thick) | 1 cup

Fresh Cream | ½ cup

Sweetened condensed milk | ¾ cup

Sugar | ½ cup

Vanilla Essence | 1 tsp


For Blueberry sauce:

Blueberries | 1 1/2 cup

Cornstarch | 1 Tbsp

Water | 1 cup

Sugar | ½ cup

Vanilla essence | ½ tsp

How to Make

Step 1

For Blueberry sauce:

Place the blueberries in a saucepan, add water, sugar and vanilla essence. Heat it over a medium to high heat until it comes to a low boil and the blueberries start breaking. Stir well.

Step 2

Dissolve the cornstarch in 2-3 Tbsp of water and add it to the mixture. Stir well and let it boil. Turn down the heat and let the mixture simmer for 2- 3 minutes. Add water, 1 Tbsp at a time, if the sauce becomes too thick. Set aside to cool.

Step 3

For baked Yogurt:

Preheat the oven to 180*C. Combine the yogurt, sweetened condensed milk, fresh cream, sugar and vanilla essence in a bowl until it becomes smooth.

Step 4

Pour the mixture into oven-proof dish or baking moulds. Cover it with an aluminum foil. Bake it for 12 -15 minutes .Remove from the oven and let it cool. Then refrigerate for 2 hours.

When serving, place a scoop or piece of baked yogurt in the plate and drizzle well with the blueberry sauce on the top. Always serve the dish cold to enjoy better.
