Banana pola is a traditional Indian snack of malabar origin from Kerala.Rich with bananas and eggs it is a popular one at all households at tea time. Here I have made a spin to the classic banana pola by having them molded and baked to a new level of deliciousness. It was a wonderful treat.Go ahead to try these baked banana pola cups..

Ingredients

Banana( ethappazham) -3 nos.

Egg -3 nos.

Milk powder -1 tablespoon

Sugar -3 tablespoon

Cardamom powder -1/4 teaspoon

Ghee-2 tablesppon

All purpose flour-1 tablespoon

Oil for deep frying

Salt-1pinch

Raisins-2 tablespoon

Cashew -2 tablespoon

Method

Step 1

Cut the bananas lengthwise into quartet and slice into  small pieces and deep fry in oil .Take half from the fried ones and mash them.Then fry the cashew and raisins also and keep it aside.

 

Step 2

Mix the eggs,sugar,cardamom powder,flour,salt with a whisker.Add  the fried bananas and the mashed banana, cashew and raisins.Combine well with spoon. Now take the cupcake mould and spread ghee in every cup. Fill the mixture in each cups and garnish with nuts. Bake 190 degree C for 20 to 30 minutes.
