The very first time I tasted this amazing dish from a Chinese restaurant, I fell in love with it.It’s really an amazing American pasta dish.As a student, I cannot go all time to a restaurant and pay for it, so I decided to make it at home.

After trying many recipes from YouTube I made my recipe for it..so let’s fall in love with this delicious savory, American Chop suey…..

Ingredients


 

  1. Noodles( Spaghetti) | 4 Cups
  2. Onion | Half Cup
  3. Capsicum | Half Cup
  4. Carrot | Half Cup
  5. Cabbage | Half Cup
  6. Pineapple | Half Cup
  7. Apple | Half Cup
  8. Cornflour | 1 1/2  Cup
  9. Tomato sauce | 1 Cup
  10. Red chili sauce | 2 Tablespoon
  11. Vinegar | 2 Tablespoon
  12. Sugar | 1 Tablespoon
  13. Salt | To Taste
  14. Egg | 1
  15. Vegetable oil | For Frying Noodles

How to Cook!



Step 1

  • Boil the noodles by adding salt
  • Take 3 cups of boiled noodles and deep fry it and keep it aside

Step 2

  • Heat a  little amount of oil in a large pan and add onion and cook for 1 minute in a medium flame.
  • Add carrot, cabbage, capsicum, and pineapple to it.Make sure that your vegetables and fruits are cut thin and long.

Step 3

  • Take cornflour and add an equal amount of water to it .Stir it well leaving no lumps and pour it into a pan.Heat it stirring continuously.
  • Add tomato ketchup, chili sauce, vinegar, sugar and salt to it,give a stir.
  • When it is thick,add rest of the boiled noodles and mix well.Our rich noodles sauce is ready

Step 4

  • Take a serving dish and place fried noodles on it and pour the rich sauce onto it.
  • Make an egg bull’s eye and place it on the top of your dish
    (I think its mandatory, they are made for each other.” I cannot think of an American chop suey without bull’s eye”)
